Resolving Error 401 - Unauthorized

Some times, when you try to access Webcenter/ADF application using valid credentials, you will get Error 401 - Unauthorized as shown below. In this case, check the server logs where Webcenter/ADF application is running. The root cause could be any of the following.

1. Policy store database might filled up where application policies being stored. You will get an error related to this, when deploying application.

2. Oracle VID or Microsoft AD that configured to access user information is not accessible. Ping the AD server. If the server is responding properly, trace the IP address and see if any delay is happening during request and response.
